Republicans are fascists.  They want to continue the mutually beneficial
financial affair between the Republican Party and oil owners/companies.
This is the only explanation for their actions.  The Republican leadership
has access to the same information that I do, and I do not believe that
they are totally stupid. A lust for fascism is the only way to explain
their behavior. NOBODY in the position of Republican leadership can be so
utterly stuuuuuuuuupid.

Oh, wait...  I forgot.  It's an appeal to "the base".

I am hopeful that Democrats can actually stand up to this ridiculous move
to give 1.4 Trillion dollars worth of ANWR oil to the oil companies.  That
is really what this is about.  That and just a distraction and an attempt
to blame the current problem on the Democrats.
